Why do we sell Essential Oils? Admittedly, these small bottles have plastic lids, and we strive to sell exclusively non-plastic products. Thankfully, here at Turtle Green, we have a tradition of recycling the unrecyclables: we do this with the aid of Terracycle.ca. We keep on hand three Terracycle Zero Waste collection boxes: a plastics packaging box, a kitchen separation box and a dental waste box. Recycling costs money and our municipal collections only include items where the Region has confirmed buyers. Terracycle has taken on the challenge of recycling almost all streams of waste: however the cost to recycle these items falls on sponsors or customers. Turtle Green is one of their customers. Therefore, any lids of essential oil, being plastic will be happily collected back from our customers, so that I may “terracycle” them. Thank you for understanding.
Oh! And re: why we sell them? You may wish to scent your Dryer Balls, of course!
